What We Believe

Along with the historic Christian Church, we confess the three ecumenical creeds, namely the Apostles', Nicene, and Athanasian Creeds. We believe that God the Father has created all things, Jesus Christ the Son died, rose, and has won salvation for the whole world, and His Holy Spirit creates and sustains faith through Holy Baptism, the Lord's Supper and the proclamation of His inspired Word, the Holy Bible.

As members of the Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod, we believe:

That Holy Scripture is the inspired, inerrant Word of God and as such is the only authority in matters of faith (Sola scriptura)

We are saved by grace through the blood of Jesus Christ (Sola gratia)

We are justified through faith, not by works (Sola fide). Works are the fruit of faith.

As members of the Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod, we hold to the Lutheran Confessions which are stated in the Book of Concord (1580). The Book of Concord is a collection of documents which confess the Christian faith from the time of the Lutheran Reformers and the ancient church. The Book of Concord is what we believe, teach and confess regarding Holy Scripture, God's Word, the Holy Bible.
