What We Believe

Along with the historic Christian Church, we confess the three ecumenical creeds, namely the Apostles', Nicene, and Athanasian Creeds. We believe that God the Father has created all things, Jesus Christ the Son died, rose, and has won salvation for all who would believe, and God the Holy Spirit creates and sustains faith through Holy Baptism and the proclamation of His inspired Word, the Holy Bible.

As members of the Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod, we believe:

That Holy Scripture is the inspired, inerrant Word of God and as such is the only authority in matters of faith (Sola scriptura)

We are saved by the blood of Jesus Christ by grace (Sola gratia)

That we are justified through faith, not by works (Sola fide)

As members of the Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod, we also confess the Lutheran Confessions, which are found in the Book of Concord (1580), a collection of the confessional documents of the Christian faith and the Lutheran Reformers. The basis for all documents in the Book of Concord is Holy Scripture, God's inspired Word.
