Family Easter Brunch and Egg Hunt

This year we had a great turnout for our Easter Brunch and Easter egg hunt after worship. Thank you to everyone who brought food to share and invited family and friends back to Shepherd of the City!

Thank you to all who joined us for VBS on June 5-7 as we learned about Jesus, the Savior of the world, who gives us faith to trust in Him! This year we learned about the amazing things God did (and still does!) for His people on mountains. Crafts, music, games, snacks, and Bible stories were all part of our 3 fun days.  We look forward to having you join us next year! Contact the church for more information.

Hymn Festival

Each August we host our annual BBQ fundraiser, featuring  special recipe barbecue ribs, chicken, rib tips and tasty sides. Join us next summer to grab lunch or dinner for the whole family! All proceeds from this wonderful, home-cooked food  go toward supporting our congregation's ongoing mission work here in the heart of Fort Wayne. All are welcome to eat, enjoy, and help out. Thank you to everyone who volunteered, spread the word, and purchased food to support the work of our congregation!

Trunk or Treat!

Each year we host our Hymn Fest, and have a great time hearing God's Word, and enjoying beautiful music, while welcoming new and old friends to Shepherd. This special worship service features local musical talent. On Sunday, February 17th we enjoyed the musical talent of Organist Dr. John Eifert, instrumentalists from our congregation, and local vocal talent. Our guest preacher was Rev. Dr. William Weinrich, who will bring God's Word to us under the theme "The Shepherd's Hands". After the service, all are welcome to enjoy fellowship and a reception. We hope to see you and your family for this year's Hymn Fest!

Each year Shepherd of the City hosts a Trunk-or-Treat on a Saturday before Halloween in October from 3pm to 5pm. Please join us in October 2019 to enjoy treats, games, and lots of fun, and don't forget a costume! We had a great turnout last year and hope to see you again this Halloween season.
