Community Thanksgiving Dinner
During the week of Thanksgiving, Shepherd of the City Lutheran Church offers a free Community Thanksgiving dinner featuring all the traditional fare. Last year we hosted our fellowship dinner on Sunday, Nov. 19 from 4 - 6 PM. A huge "thank you" to all of our members and brothers and sisters from area Lutheran churches who prepared food, served during the dinner, welcomed our guests, and helped distribute invitations! If you would like to volunteer this year, or if you have any questions, please contact Deaconess Jaseph at 260-422-3790 or via email at email@example.com
On March 11 we hosted our annual Hymn Fest, and had a great time hearing God's Word while enjoying beautiful music, and welcoming new and old friends to Shepherd. This special worship service featured local musical talent from Concordia Lutheran High School Acapella Choir, Organist Nicole Busarow, and instrumentalists from our congregation and community. The theme "For the Least of These" was drawn from Matthew 25 where we are reminded that as we have been loved by Christ, we are to love and serve one another. After the service, all enjoyed fellowship and refreshments. We hope to see you and your family for next year's Hymn Fest!
